The Ecomatic switch is installed onto the window wash/wipe stalk and when pressed is used to turn the Ecomatic operation on or off. This switch is spring loaded and sends a 12v signal to the Digiswing controller, and the controller changes state from what is current selected. Therefore, every time the car is switched off (by the ignition key), the Ecomatic mode comes on by default.
